Being a Parent
Teenage parents
If you under 18 and pregnant, or under 18 with a baby, and are confused about what benefits and other help you can get, please visit your local Go for it centre to discuss your personal circumstances. We have a Youth Adviser who works specifically with young people who are pregnant or are new parents. You can ask to be referred to them or you can print a referral form and send it to them by post.
For information on studying whilst being a parent please visit the Childcare page in the Money section of this website, or the Care to Learn link opposite.
